 Teacher Coaching Services

The Center for Guided Montessori Studies Coaching Services are a dynamic solution for the multifaceted challenges encountered by both novice and veteran Montessori teachers. From navigating the intricacies of classroom leadership to honing lesson planning skills, or from fostering effective parent communication to optimizing relationships with colleagues, our coaching packages offer a supportive framework for growth and development.

Whether it’s due to a shortage of time for in house coaching, the need for specialized support, or the idea that teachers might respond better to someone outside of the school community, The Center for Guided Montessori Studies (CGMS) recognizes that Montessori guides often need additional guidance and support beyond that which is able to be provided at their school.

Who Can Benefit from Coaching?

Our coaching services are designed for both novice and veteran Montessori guides:

  • Novice Teachers: Gain the support and knowledge needed to confidently manage a Montessori environment.
  • Veteran Teachers: Receive guidance on refining practices and implementing new skills in areas such as classroom leadership, lesson planning, record keeping, parent communication, and more.

Our Packages

All packages include one initial meeting with the Head of School (client) to determine specific needs, a self-evaluation conducted by the classroom guide who will be engaged in the coaching partnership to be reviewed by the coach, a narrated video tour of the guide’s classroom to be reviewed by the coach, a one-hour virtual observation of the classroom, a written report with recommendations for areas of growth to focus on in the coaching relationship or independently as an institution, and a one-hour meeting between coach and guide for goal setting.
