Greetings! Please join me for a two-part webinar on the topic of Integration and Integrity. Part 1 will delve into the necessity of helping children fully develop, possible only through integration of body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Most schools work with the mind and body, but the child is always one whole and has emotional and spiritual needs we cannot always see but can intuit. Without answering the child’s needs on all four levels of being, lack of balance, rather than inner strength, is inevitable. In Part 2, we will discuss our own needs as adults to find balance through integration of our own parts. It is through that never-ending process of spiritually preparing that we can best serve the needs of each child, enabling us to stand tall as parents and guides with true integrity. As Maria Montessori said, we would say that we have accompanied the child on his path of development.

Presenter Bio:
Mary Ellen Maunz is a dedicated educator and mother of three grown children, with a BS in Child Development and an M.Ed. in Integrative Learning. Her Montessori journey began with AMI training for ages 2½-6 in 1972 and for ages 6-12 in 1975, followed by becoming a PAMS Master Teacher in 1983. In recognition of her contributions, she received the MACTE Wisdom of the Elder award in 2016.
Since 1972, Mary Ellen has been involved in teaching and administration, and since 1980, she has served as a teacher educator. She is the Founder, Course Author, and Program Director of Age of Montessori/Authentic Institute of Montessori, which she led from 2010 to 2024. She is also the author of Learning to Read is a Child’s Play and Nurturing Your Child’s Inner Life. Throughout her career, Mary Ellen has lectured, consulted, and taught on six continents, including 10 summers in St. Petersburg, Russia.
