I have spent nearly 40 years in the field of Montessori education. I started my Montessori career as an early childhood Montessori guide and then became an elementary guide and eventually the Dean of an elementary program. From there, I became a consultant and ended up being asked to run two of the schools for which I consulted. My first degree is in organizational psychology (the psychology of humans in the workforce) and this, along with my Montessori certifications, has become the background for the work I do today.
I am currently serving as the head of school (part-time) of a small, private Montessori school in CA. I’m a leadership trainer-consultant to a multi-campus school in Arizona and work with CGMS as a leadership practicum advisor, an elementary field consultant, and a coach.
My passion is empowering educators and school leaders alike to reach their highest potential. When I’m not engrossed in all things Montessori, I enjoy long walks (particularly by the ocean) and practicing yoga. I love to garden and cook and enjoy listening to webinars about health and wellbeing.
I have a BA in speech & drama and industrial psychology, an Elementary Montessori diploma and an early childhood certification, an M.Ed. with an emphasis in Montessori, and a plethora of wellbeing certifications.
