Kia Holt Williams Instructional Guide
Like many I discovered Montessori philosophy while searching for care for my children. After touring a local Montessori school I was completely blown away by what I’d witnessed, and felt a spark ignite deep within. I knew that Montessori was exactly what my family needed and I had to know more!!!
I have a B.A. in International Relations from Goucher College and an Infant and Toddler Credential from M.I.T.E. in Delaware. I’ve been privileged to work within the Montessori community in Maryland for over 13 years learning from students, teachers, and administrators along the way. What a joy!!! I cannot wait to see what this journey with CGMS will bring!!!
“Let the children free; encourage them; let them run outside when it is raining; let them remove their shoes when they find a puddle of water; and, when the grass of the meadows is damp with dew, let them run on it and trample it with bare feet; let them rest peacefully when a tree invites them to sleep beneath its shade; let them shout and laugh when the sun wakes them in the morning.” Dr. Maria Montessori
