I am from Portland, Oregon . During my Undergraduate studies I was introduced to the Montessori philosophy and it’s educational practices. After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, I attended an Association Montessori International (AMI) training at Montessori Institute of San Diego where I studied Assistants to Infancy. In 2014 I received my AMI diploma in 0-3 year. Since then I’ve been a Guide in other infant and toddler classrooms, mentored Guides in training, and consulted for both businesses and families transition to a Montessori environment . I’ve mostly recently have been coaching and mentoring Guides in training at CGMS, and am really enjoying this supporting role.
I specialize in supporting Guides understanding how to combine their training and intuition to create a unique environment and materials to meet their students individual developmental needs. How to advocate for their students with parents through transparency and parent education . Lastly, I enjoy helping Guides and their assisting staff to create a collaborate community where everyone understands their roles and how each play a vital part in the infant and toddler communities.
