Stephanie Lapine Instructional Guide

Stephanie Lapine was led to Montessori by her own children, all four of whom attended Montessori schools. She has been a Montessori educator since 1995, beginning her career as an assistant at Glendridge Montessori Children’s House in Erie, Pennsylvania. She earned her Lower Elementary Montessori Certificate at the Institute for Advanced Montessori Studies in Silver Springs, Maryland. In her capacity as Lower Elementary Guide, Stephanie has taught at public, private, and charter schools. She currently teaches at a public Montessori magnet school, where she has been for the past 8 years. Stephanie’s special interest lies in Montessori in the public sector, with a focus on equity and implicit bias. Residing in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, Stephanie enjoys exploring the nearby rivers, creeks, and streams with her children, and practicing yoga and gardening at home.
